Roofing in Lancaster, KY

Roofing and gutter work around Garrard County's courthouse square and the older housing stock that surrounds it.

Lancaster is the kind of small county seat where the courthouse square still anchors the town, and the homes nearby date back well before the subdivisions became common further north. Frame houses from the early 1900s are common, many with additions and roof sections added over the decades that don't quite match, which makes a straightforward reroof more of a puzzle than it looks.

Garrard County is mostly farmland once you're a few blocks off the square, and that rural character means longer response times matter less than getting the job done right the first visit, since a callback means driving back out from town. Storm damage here tends to come from the same spring systems that hit Lancaster's neighbors, but with fewer trees shading the square itself, roofs downtown take direct sun and hail exposure that the farmhouses further out don't.
